We love to see the Gemar family grow and today marks a milestone in the development of Gemar USA.

A brand new Funny Balloons store is opening, this time in California. It’s wonderful to see Gemar balloons becoming available to so many people. And judging by the reaction on social media, the balloon artists of California can’t wait to go shopping!

Of course, a new premises needs a new manager and we are very excited to welcome Paloma Saldana and her husband Erasmo to the Gemar family. Paloma is a skilled and well respected balloon artist so she understands all our products and will be available to help and advise customers, as well as running the store. We know that she will do a wonderful job and are looking forward to seeing Funny Balloons California grow under her expert guidance.

To celebrate the opening, Gemar Ambassador Luz Paz will be visiting California on November 6th and 7th to run a series of classes. There will be four workshops over the two days, covering ceiling decoration, magic wands and bouquets, panel mounting, decoration for photography and the deluxe organic bow. From small pieces that are very popular with clients, through to show stoppers with extra wow factor, these workshops are sure to add to any balloon professional’s portfolio. Find out more and book a place here.

That’s not all! Later in the month another of our Ambassadors, Yulys Charles, will be enjoying Californian hospitality when she visits the new store to run some workshops of her own. These will be held on November 27th and 28th. For more information, please email : info@funnyballoonsca.com

If you are in California do pop in to see Paloma and have a look around. You will find Funny Balloons on Bloomfield Avenue in Santa Fe Springs, and a warm welcome will be waiting for you!
