Balloon Party Days Lecce 2023
What better way to take your balloon and party skills to a new level than a 3-day immersive event, featuring experts from around the world? That’s exactly what our partner Balloon Party Lecce offered recently – with a little help from Gemar of course!
Attracting over 100 delegates, the Balloon Party Days ran from Friday to Sunday 21-23rd January 2023 at the impressive Grand Hotel Tiziano e dei Congressi in Lecce. To meet different needs, two levels of classes were provided – Based and Advanced. Both included theory and practical sessions to give everyone the best learning experience.
In total, 21 people attended the Beginner’s course, which was designed to help new entrants take their first steps to a career in professional balloon art. On the Advanced course, 102 experienced individuals were put through their paces, learning new skills and techniques to help them build their reputations and business. The overall theme for the event was PIRATES, and it was great to watch all delegates engage with the sessions, explore ideas and develop new skills including planning, designing and shaping wonderful creations.
Gemar was delighted to be a big part of this happening. All classes were given by our talented team of Gemar Master Claudio Casagrande, Gemar Ambassadors (Gergo Csatai, Irina Lovanova, Tampilipe, Ran and Denis, Alisson Vasconcelos) and Gemar Talents (Ismaele Toma and Federica Fois), flown in from around the world to share their craft and expertise. We were happy to provide our support and learning materials to make sure everyone had the very best experience.
With a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and share ideas and interests, the hotel was buzzing with energy and the sound of conversation and enjoyment – not least at the spectacular Tortufa night Gala Event on the final evening. Showcasing outstanding balloon art and featuring prizes, surprises and delicious food (of course!), this was a fabulous ending to a brilliant three days. Everyone left with a big smile, new friends and more skills… plus a Certificate to celebrate their attendance.
